Solution to hard chess puzzle 0007
At this puzzle, next move is by White. The objective of the puzzle is to checkmate in 3 moves.
mate in 3 moves can be done by following these steps. You need to give series of discovered checks
- You have to move your pawn at c file. This will lead to a discovered attack from your queen at b3 to the opponent’s king.
- Now the king is forced to move to e5. The queens attack can not be blocked by their pawn at d file since it will expose their king to a check by yoor rook at sixth rank.
- Now you need to give another discovered check by moving your knight c3 to d5. This move will expose their to a check by your bishop. The same move will block your queens attack which will be helpful in next move. Now theri king will come back to e6
- Now you can move your knight to c7 by capturing the pawn and give a double discovered check. You are attacking the king by two pieces - queen and knight. The king can not escape from this attack and will result in a checkmate.
